Postdoctoral Fellow
Liu Meng is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Global Health Development and the National School of Development, and a research scholar at the China Center for Health Economics Research. He graduated from Jinan University in June 2021 with a doctoral degree in Applied Economics. His main research directions include health and trade economics, environmental and development economics, hospital management, and health policy evaluation.
As a key author, he has published about 20 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of International Trade Issues, Comparative Economic and Social Systems, Industrial Economics Research, Management Review, China Economist, Research in International Business and Finance, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Scientific Reports, and BMJ Open, among which about 10 papers were published as the first author or corresponding author.
He has participated in the Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China - An Economic Experiment on Precision Health Poverty Alleviation: An Intervention Study Based on Liangshan, Sichuan; presided over or participated in the National Social Science Fund for Young Scholars - Research on Population Mobility and Dynamic Optimization of Spatial Structure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, the Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Project - The Impact of Trade Policy Uncertainty on the Transformation Quality of Enterprises' Export Products, and the 13th Five-Year Plan Project of Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Science - Research on the Heterogeneous Spatial Distribution of Foreign Capital Attracted by Guangdong and Its Effects; presided over or participated in many important research projects such as Blue Book on Lifecycle Health Management, National Health and Economic Growth, Health Economic Evaluation Study on Rehabilitation Treatment of Stroke Patients, Empirical Study on the Health Economics of Obesity, and Study on International Reference Prices Under China's Medical Insurance Governance Environment.
