Qiu Yun is an Associate Professor at Institute of Economics and Social Research of Jinan University, Researcher at Research Center of Low Carbon Economy for Guangzhou Region of Jinan University, and Adjunct Researcher at Institute for Global Health and Development of Peking University. She has published a couple of papers in well-known journals such as Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Population Economics, Southern Economic Journal, China Economic Review, and THE LANCET Regional Health - Western Pacific. She won the Journal of Population Economics 2021 Best Paper Award and the Global Health Young Scholar Award of Peking University. She received her BA in Economics and Statistics from Peking University in 2011 and her PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics from The Ohio State University in 2016.
