HUANG Jing

Associate Professor, Institute for Global Health and Development and School of Public Health

Research Field: Environmental Factors and Population Health in Healthy City Construction; Health Impacts of Air Pollution and Intervention Evaluation

HUANG Jing is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health Science in School of Public Health, and joint associate professor of PKU Institute for Global Health and Development and School of Public Health. Her main research fields include environmental factors and population health in healthy city construction, as well as health impacts of air pollution and intervention evaluation. Her research was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research and Development Program of China, and China Scholarship Council, etc. She is the young elite scientist supported by the China Association for Science and Technology, the secretary of Environmental Medicine and Health Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and the young committee member of Beijing Environmental Mutagen Society. As the first/corresponding author, she has published more than 40 SCI papers in professional medical journals including The Lancet Planetary Health, JAMA Psychiatry, European Heart Journal, JACC: Advances, JACC: Heart Failure, and the representative publications were reported by European Society of Cardiology and American College of Cardiology. She is the director of the undergraduate course “Healthy City and Wearable Device” and the graduate course “Research Progress in Healthy City from the Environmental Health Perspective”. She has earned the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award (2018), the second prize of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award (2018), Excellent Teaching Award of Peking University (2019), and the 16th Beijing Youth Excellent Paper Awards, etc.
