JIAO Bingli

Research Field: Wireless communication theory and system communication; Medical Internet of Things

Bingli Jiao, Professor of School of Electronics and Institute for Global Health and Development, Peking University;Visiting professor at Princeton University; VTS Beijing Chapter Chair; Director, Engineering Research Center of Mobile Digital Hospital System, Ministry of Education; Director of Peking University-GeeSpace Advanced Communication Joint Laboratory.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Saarland in Germany in 1995. His research areas include: (1) wireless communication theory and system communication (2) Medical Internet of Things.

The main contribution in the field of communication is the invention of co-frequency co-time full duplex technology in 2006, and a series of application research based on the invention. He won the first prize of technical invention awarded by the China Institute of Communications in 2020. In the field of medical Internet of Things, he served as the leader of wireless Medical Internet of Things master planning research group in the national major project from 2012 to 2015. At present, the team is developing applications for co-frequency co-time full duplex low-orbit satellites and global medical information assurance.

He has published five monographs:  "5G  Co-Frequency Co-Time Full Duplex Technology ", "Medical Internet of Things - Network Framework and Technology Application", "Medical Internet of Things - Concept, Demand and Development Process", "5G and Smart Medicine", " Key Technologies and System Implementation of Co-Frequency Co-Time Full Duplex " . Besides, he has published 85 magazine /journal papers and 125 conference papers.
