With the deepening of globalization, human economic life and health conditions have seen remarkable improvements. However, globalization has also introduced many new health and development challenges, placing global health development under significant pressure.
As an active participant, builder, and contributor to the transformation of the global governance system, the Institute for Global Health and Development (GHD) at Peking University brings together outstanding resources in the field of global health, undertakes international cooperation projects, and cultivates innovative talents with interdisciplinary expertise spanning economics, public health, diplomacy, and management. These efforts serve government agencies, academic institutions, healthcare organizations, as well as other social organizations and enterprises from both China and abroad, including Countries of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
GHD is also committed to advancing collaboration with world-renowned universities and institutions. It has engaged in discussions with Yale University, the University of Oxford, Georgetown University, University College London, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Tulane University, among others, exploring diverse models of international collaboration to offer faculty and students extensive opportunities for academic exchange, joint research, and professional development.
