Workshop on the "China Pharmacoeconomic Evaluation Guidelines"

Pharmacoeconomics is an interdisciplinary field that studies how to achieve the greatest health outcomes with limited pharmaceutical resources. With the continued advancement of the "Healthy China 2030" initiative and national healthcare reform, pharmacoeconomic evaluation has become a valuable tool for enhancing the efficiency of healthcare resource allocation and is widely used in major national healthcare decisions, such as adjustments to the National Basic Medical Insurance Drug List.

Given the constraints of limited resources, pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness evaluations are poised to play an increasingly vital role in supporting scientific decisions that better meet the public's need for quality healthcare services and a healthy life. To standardize pharmacoeconomic research in China and improve its guidance for scientific decision-making in healthcare, the development of pharmacoeconomic evaluation guidelines for China is essential. This workshop aims to analyze drug costs and health outcomes and to explore pharmacoeconomic evaluation methods with industry scholars and experts.
