I. Scholarship Overview
The Peking University Young Health Economists Scholarship Program was established by PKU China Center for Health Economic Research (CCHER). It aims to provide young scholars and graduate students from China and abroad with the opportunity to engage in systematic academic training and research at Peking University for a period of 1–2 years. The program has been continuously implemented for over 20 years and has cultivated nearly 200 outstanding new-generation health economists in China, as well as leaders in government and industry.
Recipients of the scholarship are granted a monthly research stipend of RMB 2,000. In addition, they are afforded access to essential research infrastructure and resources, including office space, computer equipment, internet, professional journals, and academic databases, thereby enabling them to devote themselves fully to scholarly inquiry and research.
