Guoxi (Aaron) Zhang is the Co-founder and CEO of Transcend Vivoscope and serves as a Senior Practice Expert in Development and Partnerships at the Peking University Institute for Global Health and Development. He is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, holds an MBA from the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, and earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. His research focuses on global health, health policy and management, and innovation and entrepreneurship in the health sector.

Mr. Zhang brings extensive cross-sector experience in healthcare, spanning Fortune 500 multinational pharmaceutical companies, top-tier PE/VC investment institutions, and cutting-edge life sciences startups. He began his career at Pfizer, Novartis, and Roche, working across sales, marketing, and medical. He later became a healthcare investor, serving in key roles at WI Harper Group, Huagai Capital, Cathay Capital, and Green Pine Capital Partners. He has led investments in numerous prominent companies and was named “Healthcare Young Investor of the Year 2023,” “Top 40 Under 40 Venture Capitalists in China 2022,” and “Influential Investor Under 40 in 2021.”

Outside of his professional work, he is passionate about triathlon, mountaineering, and outdoor sports. He serves on the board of American Returned Scholars Association of the Western Returned Scholars Association and Peking University Alumni Outdoor Sports Association.
