1. Educational Background

Books: In July 2023, his industrial economics monograph Critical Point—The Underlying Logic of China's Industrial Transformation and Upgrading, adapted from his doctoral dissertation, was published by China Machine Press. It became a bestseller that year and received widespread acclaim from the industry.Papers: Co-authored a paper on China's new energy vehicle industry with Wang Yong, Zhao Qiuyun, etc., published in Economic Theory and Economic Management, which won the 2023 Excellent Paper Award. This paper was officially cited in the English flagship report Industrial Development 2024 by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), becoming an important document explaining the sustainable development of China's new energy vehicle industry. Additionally, he has published multiple work reports and papers on China's new energy vehicle industry.
3. Professional Experience
1985–1996: Served successively in the Foreign Economic Relations Commission of a local government and state-owned enterprise groups, accumulating solid experience in economic management and policy practice.
Since 1996: Embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, participating as a co-founder in the operations of private enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises, and listed joint-stock companies. Held core management positions such as General Manager, President, Chief Strategic Officer, and Chairman, gaining rich hands-on experience in corporate strategic planning, team management, and market development.
2018–Present: Joined the Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University, successively serving as Director of the Enterprise Development Department, Senior Practice Expert, Research Fellow, and Assistant to the Dean. During this period, he actively promoted the practical application of new structural industrial economics in enterprises, conducting on-site investigations of over 20 industry-leading enterprises with Professor Lin Yifu. He also deeply participated in think tank research projects and report writing for local governments, including Shaoxing and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province, Yili in Xinjiang, and Foshan in Guangdong Province.
