GUO Yan is a Professor in Health System and Global Health, Institute for Global Health and Development and  School of Public Health, Peking University Health Science Center. She is chair of Chinese Health Economics Association Public Health Branch and chair of Beijing health international cooperation association. She was a Commissioner of WHO Commission on Social Determinate of Health. Her research mainly focuses maternal and child health , Health system, social determinate of health as well as global health development. Yan Guo got her BD from Beijing Medical University in 1982 and MPH from Tulane University in 2001.
